Monday to Friday, June 18th to 22th, 2018

Director: Dr. Tim Hess

The time is now to reserve your place in the 2018 Tucker Institute.  We are again limiting the 2018 course to 8 participants. Currently, we have 6 registrants for those 8 slots. This unique and rewarding course will reaffirm the excellence that can be achieved with gold castings. A minimum of 48 hours of PACE certified participation credits in Operative Dentistry- Subject Code 611 Cast Gold Restorations will be awarded to those working towards their Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry.

The dates for the next course mentored by Drs. Richard D. Tucker and Timothy A. Hess are June 18 – 22, 2018.  Once again, the University of Washington, School of Dentistry plays host to the Institute.  We encourage you to come join us in Seattle next June to learn how to produce beautiful cast gold restorations.

During this five-day clinical course, you will prepare and seat at least four castings. You will be assisted in doing the lab procedures for one or more castings. Patients and Dental Assistants will be provided. All laboratory fees, including gold, are covered in the course fee. The Institute will provide handpieces and instruments for use during the course. If you would like, we can put together the Tucker Technique hand instruments used during the Institute for your purchase. You will be able to start preparing and seating beautiful castings immediately on your return to your office.

This is a fantastic learning experience for the dental team and participating doctors are encouraged to bring an assistant.

2009 participant, Dr. Ward King states, “This was the best “hands-on” continuing education I have taken in 32 years. It is challenging and it will test you. But, you will meet some of the best instructors in our field today. And, they will show you how to provide a great service to your patients that could last a life-time.

2010 course participant Dr. Cary Birkitt commented, "What a positive experience! Upon returning to my office, I noticed an increased ease in discussing these types of restorative procedures. My patients must have noticed as well, I am happy to report greater case acceptance than prior to attending this clinic."
